Emma
Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson, born in Paris France of British parents Jacqueline Luesby Watson and Chris Watson both of whom were lawyers. As a young girl, she relocated from London to Oxfordshire to attend the Dragon School. Emma was inspired to become an actor when she was six. Over the course of several years she was enrolled in the Oxford Branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts part-time school. In the school, she was taught singing, dancing and acting. At the age of 10 years old, Emma took part in numerous Stagecoach plays and productions. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) the 2001 film adaptation from J.K. Rowling's bestselling British book began in 1999. Casting agents found Emma by way of her Oxford theatre teacher. David Heyman, the producer of Harry Potter Harry Potter's Sorcerer's Stone and Ron Weasley told Emma after the eight auditions that she'd been chosen for these roles. Emma was chosen to play alongside Daniel Radcliffe Rupert Grint and Rupert Grint. Emma's first film on the screen was Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone that was released in the year 2001. The movie set records for the opening weekend and numbers, and was the top-grossing 2001 film. The film was praised by experts, and also by the performance of three new stars. The Daily Telegraph, a well-read British paper, praised her for her outstanding performance. Emma's performance was recognized and was awarded five awards for the film.
